....or is it believable?

My son is in college and has worked part-time as a loader for UPS for the past few years. He told me he was cleaning up after his shift this morning and was checking the "belt" to make sure no packages had fallen off where belts come together or had been bumped off onto the floor. For some reason, he said he looked up and noticed a UPS envelope package stuck to a pole. He said it was obvious that it had fallen off a belt that ran above the belt he works on. He climbed up to get it and was shocked that the date on this overnight package was two years ago!

And I thought USPS was slow. No more complaining here! Well, not much anyway

So... did they go ahead and deliver the envelope two years late?

The only chance of a USPS package being found after two years of being mailed is if it is found in the home of a delivery person...

RainyBear: I cannot believe that I forgot to ask! I'll report back after I talk to my son again -- it could be a few days.

Wow, I wonder if the people forgot about the package or got their money back...

computerboy must have worked in a similar situation.

In my early 20's I worked for a shipping Co. part time as a "casual" unloading semi's when I went to college.

I found out why stereo gear was so expensive.

Insurance.
The company actually hired an undercover FBI agent to work the docks to find out why 75% of stereo equipment never made it to the stores.

Bad news. Everyone thought he was the guy.

It was a disappearing act that would make Copperfield scratch his head.

Been That..Done There.

My son says he gave the package to his supervisor. The last time he saw the package, it was tucked under his supervisor's arms. He doesn't know the fate.
