I've had a few items get to 30 or more bids, but at the last minute, so I never had a "hot" icon before. The item has 36 bids with two days to go!
The thing is though, is it's not going for all that much money (under $60). Two or three newbies are fighting over it, but only bidding small increments. Weird.
Just looking at the bidding history, it looks like I've got 4 ID's shilling it. LOL

I know what you mean. There are lots of 0 feedback bidders around these days and lots of them seem to be interested in my auctions. I was just looking at the bidding history of a few of my items and was thinking that I hope people don't think I'm shill bidding because that's sure what it looks like. I have no idea what some of these people are doing. The prices aren't too high at this point it's just the bidding patterns that look weird and I just listing most of these items yesterday.

That's great!
We had a hot item once. It went for over $200, but we never did hear from the high bidder and had to relist (gotta love those deadbeats). The second time it sold for a little over $100. That's not too bad though considering it only cost us $3.99 to begin with.
