Does anybody know what the USPS charges for a money order? I couldn't find the info on their website.

No, it's $0.75. Believe it or not, the price went down recently.

I just bought a green one last week and I was charged 75 cents.

There is a BIG poster in the Post Office I use that says 75 cents---so Yippee!! I'm right!!

Delivery Confirmation went down in price too.

When did all this happen? I recently (within the past 2 weeks) bought a money order and was charged 80 cents.

And I thought delivery confirmation went up to 40 cents when the postage hike went into effect.

Found it on the USPS site:
Simplified Rates and Fees

Money orders ARE 75 cents, and Delivery Confirmation did go up to .40

joanne---I mail by Book Rate most of the time---and that DC went down in price--it was 60 cents and now it is 50 cents.

From the USPS site:

Money Order:

Domestic $0.75
APO/FPO $0.25
International $3.25


the last one is the pink International MO.

If it is being mailed to Canada ---I believe it is around $3.25.
