I received a confirmation to ship to Japan from Bidpay on March 9 and shipped Mar 14. As of March 27 no sign of the money order.
Traced money order with Western Union and message comes back that it is no longer on the system. Bidpay site says this means it was cashed. Not by me. I have written to Bidpay, but previous experience leads me to believe that this is like sending email into a black hole. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has encounterd this sort of trouble and solutions if any.

Unbeleivable! Bidpay actually emailed me. I nearly fainted:
We have received a number of complaints about the orders we processed on
March 8th and after an extensive investigation have learned that there was
indeed a serious error with this batch.

We use a high security bank check printing company because of the volume of
orders we process every day and these are then picked up by the United States
Postal Service truck and delivered to the sorting center.

We can't make excuses for this, but you are entitled to an explanation of
why this problem happened.

The pallet containing the orders for 3/8/01 was mislabeled at the Postal
Sorting Center and it was neither sorted or sent.

We were contacted by Postal Inspectors (after our continued complaints) and
they discovered the error.

ALL OF THESE PAYMENTS ARE BEING MAILED FIRST THING TOMORROW MORNING
"Tuesday March 27th" and should reach you within the next three or four days.

We are VERY SORRY that this happened and in over two years this has never
happened to us before and want to assure you that we are taking steps to
ensure that if NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN.

We are sending a copy of this notice to all your affected buyers as well.

As many of you know, BidPay "absolutely" guarantees the payment to the seller
so if any of you are holding your customers shipments pending getting this
payment PLEASE RELEASE THE ITEM AT ONCE so as not to cause any further delay
for our mutual customers.

We want to thank you for your past business and look forward to being of
service in the future and once again, we are very sorry that this problem
took place.

Yours truly,
BidPay.com

The strange thing is that it is not showing up in the system. It should be in the system very shortly after it is printed...regardless of how bad the PO messes up.

I have two confirmation emails from Bidpay. The second one said they have mailed my money order. This is not showing up in my account. I emailed Bidpay asking why, so far no answer. Also the address given was different than the first address received from buyer. So per Bidpay rules I emailed them and let them know that I was given two addresses for my buyer. No answer, nothing in the account, and so far no money order. It has been two days now. Should I be worried. I am wondering what my buyer will think of this holdup.

Re: Confirmation email but nothing online:
This has happened to me about a half dozen times: No email confirmation or log in info
and then the money order shows at my door.
I have sent a dozen emails to Bidpay and received zero response. I will not ship
unless the info is there on line and I can print it out and I am now nervous about doing this
(see lead post) I have had buyers chase Bidpay with better success. Ask the buyer if the charge has been debited. If it has ask them to email Bidpay. I hate annoying buyers,
but given the arrogance with which Bidpay treats sellers (not answering email or providing a proper telephone number) I have no choice. The above response was an anomoly
in a string of nerve wracking encounters with this company. Good Luck!
