Hello All! Quick question. My friend is listing 10 day auctions, (she's leaving town for a few days). Her starting bids are below $9.99, which equals .30 cents insertition fee...right??? Ten day auctions are supposed to cost an extra .10 cents...right???? When you do the math that equals .40 cents...right??? Well, she's being charged .50 cents!!! Can the folks at Ebay not add??! I asked her a bunch of questions to make sure she wasn't clicking any extra features...she's not. Then I went and did a "fake" listing, just didn't confirm, starting price of $1.99 and 10 days....sure enough, my charge would have been .50 cents!! Anybody know anything about this? Has Ebay upped the ante and just not informed us?
Thanks in advance for any input!

Hi eventer,
Nope she didn't list in 2 categories...that would have been an extra .30 cents right? Which would have brought the total to .70 cents for 10 days, .30 + .30 + .10 = .70. I don't understand this..since it happened to me too when I did the "trial" listing. Those of you who list for 10 days might want to check your accounts!!!

Ebay booboo. If you check your account status you should see that you were actually charged .40c although the screen, did in fact, say .50c

I list all my auctions 10 dats and the charge in the invoice is always .40 cents not .50 but I wouldnt doubt they could have a bug or error some where. http://dman.Dman-N-Company.com

This is a known bug, and it started last week. The eBay page says one thing, your invoice will say another, don't sweat it.

eBay has made a commitment to fix these problems automatically, perhaps they have not yet finalized the software necessary to make the corrections. See:
