I sell primarily clothes and now that the season is changing I was wondering if I should sell winter items now still? I live in Las Vegas and it has been around 80 degrees here...dropping fast though, but I can't imagine selling sweaters, jackets etc now that season is almost over.
Clothing sellers what would you sell right now? I know weather on the east coast and other places is still cold, but spring is coming soon and I personally wouldn't buy winter stuff right now, even though I might be able to use it for a few more weeks.
you're right - no sweaters, coats, or jackets, unless you've got stuff you just want to clear out at a low price or they're 'summerweight.' spring/early summer dresses, pants, skirts, blouses, etc. i'm also finding that fall colors - browns/oranges, and pretty much any plaids - aren't going anymore. makes sense, really. people are eager for spring, so are drawn to spring/summer colors as well as styles.
I also live in Vegas and sell clothing. I have sold numerous sweaters and "winter" clothing lately. I don't plan to sell it any longer though, since it is starting to get much warmer in the rest of the US. It seems strange for me to list a wool sweater when it is 80 degrees outside =o) Plus it seems that summer stuff is doing great right now, swimsuits and sandals especially!

There are two guidelines:
Pre-season: Sell what is selling retail at this very moment.
In season: Sell what people are wearing at this very moment.
*****
As for off-season: Not many are wearing heavy winter coats or chunky wool sweaters right now; better to store them for next fall. (Or quote liberal Canadian shipping rates; you might catch a few.) If you want the winter stuff out of your hair, sell it a clearance price.
