Hi, everyone. I've been wanting to buy a Sony Mavica 73; found one at 299 this morning on ecost.com. It's a limited sale, but I thought you all would like to know.
IF you go there, get the phone number and call instead of emailing your order. I emailed first, they messed up, I called to order, then they confirmed my email order, which I had to cancel since I don't want two of them.
I suppose they've fixed the on-line trouble, but be aware that they confirm the order BY E-MAIL, not right there on the screen where you'd expect it to be! duh

You know, I think it is a really good price! I've been studying the subject here at AW for nearly a year, and I've concluded I want the Sony Mavica because I don't have to fuss with plugging something into my computer. And the Mavica 73 appears to have all the stuff I need. I'm not a pro seller, and not a "power seller," just someone selling stuff our family doesn't want.
The price is the lowest I've seen, and they are discontinuing the 73! There are at least two or three places that MySimon.com showed had Mavicas for this price, and ecost.com was highly rated as a seller, so I chose to go there. After I ordered mine, I told my husband I was going to go on AW Ebay Outlook and tell others about this.
There may not be any left, but I'd sure check if I were you. And I'm sure it's possible that if you wait another 6 months to a year, you may find it for even less--but then you may not find it at all, right? Good luck! Adele

Have the 83....LOVE IT...so quick, easy, affordable!!! Can do mini movies(60 seconds)also. That 73 is ideal for auctions, can get the 75 for $399 (SEALED & WARRANTY) at most places also.

Strange... both ecost.com and pcmall.com have them listed for similar prices, say "$150 price drop!" and list 36 units on hand.
