Any thoughts on how high fees will be for the new eBay storefronts? Will they be like Zshops with a $39.95 fee plus commission for thousands of listings? Or like Yahoo where it is $100/month for 50 items; $300/month for 1000 items--with $100 month for each additional 1000 items?--so a 5,000 item site would be $700/month.

That's an easy one. Go look at how much Yahoo stores cost. Is there any reason you think eBay is gonna cost less than them? Not likely if they dont charge a %.
If they do charge a % then look at something like $39.95 + 5% for up to say 200 items.
In no way shape or form will it be cheaper than either zshops or Yahoo stores, and in no way will they allow it to effect their auction income.
