F.) Feedbacks that can be edited. For example - if a NEG is left for someone and they later decide to work out the problem, the NEG should be able to be edited and turned into a Positive.

F) I go with Executivegirls idea...excellent.

This brings up another question...
Why the heck can't you edit your own feedback anyway? Doesn't that seem logical that you should be able to do that???

Do they give an explicit reason for not allowing this???

I think that anyone who leaves a negative should be able to have it removed or convert it if the matter gets settled.

1-5 stars is silly IMO. You got your item, you're happy, it's positive. you got ripped off? Negative. The transaction went okay? Neutral. Keep it simple.

I don't understand what you mean by going through the venue to leave a neg, but if you mean that eBay ought to review it and approve it for inclusion in feedback, I'd much rather they focus on keeping the site up than policing such things.

Not Kerryann on eBay

I know as a seller of many small items FB gets very frustrating.

I also find that over a third of my NF comes from Newbies who simply don't understand the FB system or online buying and selling etiquette!

F) I'm with ExecutiveGirl on this one too. See how Yahoo does their FB system, that is the best way to go in my opinion.

A & EG's F - In the "old" days before feedback had to be transactional...you could leave another if it had to be amended. I like being able to leave specific comments -stars don't grab me, and I think if it is "canned" leaving it will drop off which will partially defeat the purpose.
