Hi

I have a scanner and that has been working fine, however, I would like to take some digital pictures of objects that I can not scan.

What is a good inexpensive camera to use for Ebay auctions? What is everyone else using for their photos? Thanks for the tips.

Jeff

If you only plan to use the camera for online pictures and not print pictures, you can get by with a fairly low-res camera, even as low as 768k pixels. Most of the low-end cameras are in the 1 Megapixel range which should work fine.

How much are you looking to spend?

There are a number of cameras that take decent pictures that sell for around $100, but most of them have draw backs. Slow serial port downloads (I hated that in my first camera), no view screen, expensive batteries, short battery life, etc.

We finaly got a Sony Mavica, and while it isn't exactly cheap, this camera ROCKS. Charge the battery, and shot pics for 90 minutes. Great Zoom. Records on Floppy disk. Takes MPEGS. Takes pictures that are almost to good.
