Hello.
I have some CD's to sell on eBay, some are from BMG. Does it bring the price down, and should I say if it is from BMG in my auction? Thanks for any help.

If you suspect that there is a reason mentioning that fact would bring the price down, then you should mention it. If it doesn't matter, it won't affect the price. If it does matter, then you won't have to deal with pissed off bidders.

I don't know why it would matter, but just in case it does, it would be safer to be upfront with the description.
Try turning the situation around- suppose there was an item that would sell for a certain price without one particular feature, but would sell for much more with that feature, and you had one of those. Would there be any doubt in your mind about whether or not you should disclose the presence of that feature in your description?

I believe that more information is almost always helpful to my profits. Because of the reasons that mrpotatoheadd listed and several others:
1--The additional descriptive words that you include will probably result in more keyword searches catching your auction.
2--I like to think that the fact that I disclose so much information so readily will help my buyers to trust me more than other sellers who give super short descriptions, and thus buy from me and not them.
3--It eliminates many of the repetitive email questions you will get if you do not list this type of information.
Good luck!
