Hi All: Could someone tell me how I put a workable link on this message board. I'd like to ask a question about an item but I'd like to put a link to the item. I want it to be a clickable link. Can anyone help! I appreciate it. Joe

just the brackets around the url, then close it with brackets, forward slash url, brackets, no spaces.

That was dumb!

NearTheSea: Thanks for the information! I knew there was something I had to do and that was the brackets. If you just put up the link without the brackets, it stays black and un-clickable. I appreciate your help! Joe

TheFed,

To make a link clickable, just put [*url] before the URL and [*/url] after it, but leave out the asterisks. You'd make a link to this thread like this (leaving out the *):

[*url]http://www.auctionwatch.com/mesg/read.html?num=2&thread=368181[*/url]

Which will become:

http://www.auctionwatch.com/mesg/read.html?num=2&thread=368181

Hope this helps!

Pat

Fritzdick: Take the asterisk out of each bracket and I think it will work. Thanks to everyone for your help also. Mine worked!

HI

To make the link work, you need to remove the asterisks [*/url]

Good Luck!
