I received an email from BillPoint stating they are doing a mail/phone fraud investigation. They ask me to fax all information I had on transaction. I sent them: UPS tracking/delivery date, BillPoint request for payment, positive feedback left to me, and all the email from the bidder.

The bidder is now NRU. Will I end up having to eat this chargeback?

Possibly. It is not Billpoint's decision. It is the credit card companies decision.

At least you had all of the documentation.

Many times, if it is a case of the buyer claiming they did not receive the item, you will loose the chargeback if it was sent to an address other than the verified billing address.

Good luck!!

Popnrock,

Was your problem Billpoint customer by chance from France? If so, you're seller #8 (that I've tracked down thus far) who was burned by this bozo.

The best part is that eBay hasn't shut down his account yet!
