I just got a payment from someone in the mail (check) and it has one name (no address, etc.) on the check imprint area and signed by someone else. There is no info in the memo section and no note or anything in the envelope. Since, I use Auction watch to send my WBN's I have noticed that auctionwatch gives the information for payment to the buyer and they can send payment but they seem to forget to email me with their mailing information. So I have no clue who's payment this is. I sell about 200 items a week, and several fit this amount. I ended up, after about an hour sigting through all the auctions that I have names for, sending the check back to her with a nice note requesting more information. So, all this work for a $8.99 payment (which includes shipping.)
Anyone else have this problem?? what do you do?

This is what I have been doing for a while now and it works like a charm:
My address for payment:
John Doe
IN-1234
100 Anystreet
Anytown, Anystate, 12345
The IN stands for item number. The 4 digits after it are the last 4 digits of the auction number that the bidder won. Since I started using this, I have solved all of my mystery payments in less than 5 minutes.
