If you type "emmy videos" with the quotes, you will only pick up auctions where those two words appear in that sequence. If you do it without the quotes, any auction that contains the word "emmy" OR "videos" will appear. You could also try typing "emmy video*", and you'll get anything that has the phrase "emmy video" "emmy videos" or (for the spelling challenged seller) "emmy videoes". The asterisk is a "wild card" and is useful if there are several possible spellings (i.e. popp* will get you poppy, poppies, poppys, etc.).
If you need to subtract more than one item, put it in parentheses with a comma between the words (no spaces):
"emmy video*" -(rare,vintage)
The parentheses can be used to give you only the variables you want without giving you a million different auctions:
beanie* bear* (blue,green) -erin
The above search would give you any beanie bear auctions (or beanies or bears) where the seller specifies a color of either blue or green, but it will omit the Erin bear even if the seller uses the word green.
