I don't know about slow, but I'm trying to relist some items and keep getting the "internal error" message. I'm sure glad ebay went through that major upgrade recently. Otherwise they would be down a lot, and keep having internal errors, or unavailable functionalities.

I'm using DSL and eBay's pretty slow here in Delaware. I've been to many sites tonight and there are pockets of really slow load times. Most are on the west coast.

Yes!

Talk about The Twilight Zone ... I was just going to post this identical message, but I was going to call it "eBay Down, But Not Out in Western Canada?". It is taking me so long to access My eBay to see how my bids are doing, that I just gave up. I guess if I win something, I will eventually hear about it.

Also in Western Canada and also using DSL ... everything else is working fine.

I was trying to shop for a hard drive at 14:15 eBay time and gave up. I have DSl also not that it does much good if they don't serve.
I asked them if they even monitor how long it takes to serve a page. Soes not seem important at all to them.
At 21:00 still too slow to bother with.

It's still taking forever this morning to get on eBay and go from one page to the other. The function availability shows everything ok. It isn't. I am really frustrated because I need to list a lot today and tomorrow. I am wondering what is wrong to, but couldn't even get onto their discussion help page to find out what happening. Annoucements says nothing.

If you find it slow going on ebay, try a website like safeweb.com to enter ebay. Using a website that hides your id seems to speed up ebay. Have heard they are restricting bandwith to their site to improve reliability and decrease downtime. Give it a try and see if it speeds things up. If you notice a difference please post back and let me know if it is just me or it really does work.

Same thing with safeweb this morning. eBay is extremely slow loading from my DSL connection at home and just as slow from work (T1 connection).

I also notice that I cannot surf from one of my Hotmail accounts to another. I have to close my browser, then disconnect. Otherwise, it hangs on the "sign off" screen.

Some other sites also seem to be running slower for the last couple of days. I thought this may have been a local problem, but it looks like it could be larger than that.

I am in Western Canada ...

Hey OK Ebay says everything is running smooth but it takes about 20 minutes for one page to open. What is going on. I am in Ohio using a cable modem. This has been happening for almost the last 24 hours. I was concerned that it was something with my service but everything else opens fine without any delays. Anyone know what is going on at all?

Same here. I'm on DSL in NE Ohio and can't get anything on ebay to load faster than 15 minutes.

I *did* have a mountain of work to do today -- does anyone know of a workaround? I tried UK and AOL and they're slow too.
