I wanted to place some bids on some stuff from a seller with feedback on the 200's. Some of the auctions are about to end in a few hours. Then I saw that the high bidder was the same in a few of thems, and upon some research, I also found out that the high bidder registered just over a month ago, and that he placed bids on about 66 auctions over the last 30 days, and that roughly 64 of those auctions were from the SAME seller.
What do you think?
What are the policies for posting both the UserIds here for all to review?

Hello minnow,

Posting user ids and other identifying information is prohibited per the Community Guidelines.

Hope this helps,

Hello Marty

Didn't it used to be the anyone could post user IDs if those users were invited to join the disscussion?

minnow,

That policy changed well over a month ago. You can still invite someone but can't post IDs.

I do not post here too often but had to reply to this one .... I often get nervous when someone bids on one of my auctions and has shades and/or no feedback ... and when they bid on several of my auctions, I really really get nervous...but I have had some of the most fantastic multiple sales to newbies with zero feedback who become regular buyers with me over many MANY auctions! I end up leaving twenty or thirty positve feedbacks for the one USER ID when these newbies pay almost instantly on large sales! Take my word for it -- not all of those multiple sales you saw with a particular seller and buyer are shill bids -- sometimes newbies just really get enthusiastic -- especially if they are collectors of a particular items or series and they are happy with first one or two sales with a particular seller! Multiple sales from a seller to one buyer may just mean that seller is great at customer service and deserves repeat sales!

I'd send both ID's to Safe Harbor and tell them that I happened to be browsing and saw something that looks suspicious, but that I have absolutely no firm knowledge of any wrongdoing. They have the info to see if these two ID's have the same last name, address, phone number, etc.

Without eBay, I might have a real life...
