This is a first for me and I'm not sure how to handle it:
Bidder wins book auction on April 24. I send EOA as soon as auction ends requesting mailing info within 3 days and payment within 10. Never hear from bidder. Resend EOA as a friendly reminder on April 27. Never hear from bidder.
Request Non-Paying Bidder Alert on May 7. Never hear from bidder. File for FVF on May 21. Relist book on May 22. Lo and behold, check arrives today postmarked May 21.
Do I:
A. Cancel relist (no bids yet) and just send book?
OR
B. Return check with note that payment was due on May 4?

It's up to you.
Either way, you'd be within your rights as a seller to accept the late payment, end the current auction and complete the sale with this "would-be deadbeat" - or send payment back and hope the book sells for more the second time around.
