I'm confused.... I have 746 positive feedback comments, but my feedback number is 745.

My overall positive feedback number is 930.

No neutrals, no negatives.

Why is the number next to my ID 745 and not 746?????

Mine is off by several. The only thing I can figure is that once an ID is NARU the feedback that they have posted goes bye-bye....

If the same buyer leaves more than one feedback, even for separate transactions, it only counts as one in the total feedback number. Could that be what happened?

jema,

That's correct but has already been accounted for in the 930 overall positives & 746 unique.

ebay has been running a bit behind in their updating of the feedback numbers. I had the devil of a time the past few days even leaving feedback (functionality problems, so they say).

There was a similar thread earlier in the week. Maybe today's maintenance will get it caught up. If not, then plan on emailing ebay & asking them to review it.

Ok, add me to the club as we have......

"813 are from unique users and count toward the final rating"

....yet our number rests at 812!

(no negatives)

I guess ebay decided to start taking away our feedback also.

Not really suprised.......

Do you think maybe you are going to have to buy it back? let's see that is one unique @.25 cents counts towards final positive rating,$.15 cents for each additional positive from same unique user. Ya never know.

I think geminspector may be right. Someone has left and with them leaving, doesn't their feedback turn to neutral? That would cause your numbers to drop.

Of course, someone brought up the possibility on another thread that they are taking our feedback, one by one.

No big deal.

What you have is the remainder after eBay took their percentage.

Don't you remember the announcement.

Something about they needing positive feedbacks for their failing selling businesses.

It was sandwiched between the fuzzy math explaining how Billpoint was the lowest cost CC processor, when you didn't include the transfer fee, and why the SAB customers would have to pay a monthly fee for the listing program they purchased.

If you look around I'm sure you'll find it being used on the Butterfield or eBay Motor's sites.

Last year it was only a dollar, this year it's only a feedback.

You better shut-up before you make the Greed God angry and they turn the whole world into a company town.

Good, then we all should get cash credit this month!
I'll gladly trade one positive feedback for $149.00 of ebay fees......slow month for us.

Let's see......

2 & 1/2 percent of the first 25 feedbacks, then 1 & 1/2 percent of the next...........WOW! I got a deal, they only took one!
