I am interested too. I haven't tried it as a buyer or seller. What looks like a problem to me is that you get charged on postage per card. So, if you buy 5 cards, you pay postage 5 times? It adds up fast. As a buyer, I don't see much benefit to using half.com over Ebay or another auction service. I guess I just don't get it, and I suspect I am not alone.

I've been putting up Pokemon cards on half.com since they opened it up to trading cards - have had 2 sales so far... Doesn't help with sports card question, but there is trading card activity there. 8)

I've been putting up a lot of my common and lower priced cards that make no sense to list on Ebay and have been having pretty good luck with over 100 selling in the last month.
Half takes 15% of the total including shipping so you have to take that into account when setting your prices, but if you're reasonable you can get people buying. Sometimes people are looking for certain cards to complete their sets, and that seems to be the majority of the sales I've had.
I haven't put many higher priced cards up so I can't tell you how active that market is, but if you're wanting to move some of the commons and free up space and just make a bit rather than having the cards sit in a box, it's a good marketplace to go to.

I've got some 1960 Topps baseball cards in good shape, but I don't know what to do with them. They aren't graded and I see they usually bring a couple of bucks on ebay when they are not graded.
Bah humbug. Ain't selling 40 year old cards for a couple of bucks.

By the way, these cards I have are in very nice condition. Not faded, pretty sharp corners, etc. Not all are well centered.
They are commons (I think) but some are high numbers.
Are they worth grading?
How does one get a card graded?
Thank you.

Probably NOT, Unless they are REALLY Nice, almost MINT (which means looked like they were printed today). But they do have some value. You could put them in a Lot and sell them, You might get more Money, or more Bids doing it that way (or Both). OR you might put them in the Spokes of your bicycle and have the time of your life, to be Honest I would probably do the Latter.

I certainly wont be putting them in my bike spokes. They are nicer than that I think. Here's six of them. I've got more.
The photo is not very good quality though.
