The latest message just in from ebay......

"We are sorry - the following auction has ended without any winner bidders."

Winner bidders???

For some reason that just does not sound correct.


Did I miss the class on ebay english 101???

eBay is just a venue. eBay takes no responsibility for the English language, all transactions are between the seller and the buyer.

Be thankful that the dreaded "functionality" wasn't in the string of words, (not that functionality is a word.)

BTW the statement isn't correct. It should be winning, not winner.

That USED to be true but, from the looks of it, soon all transactions look like they will be between ebay and the sellers OR buyers!

I sure hope that they get the functionality fixed for all my winner bidders first........
