Why did you first list with AuctionWatch
I first listed with AuctionWatch because I was having such a hard time figuring out how to host my auction images. AW hosted images free. Now they charge a fee, "WHICH THEY CERTAINLY SHOULD".
When AW started charging for hosting images, and PayPal started charging for handling accounts, you never heard so many of my friends complain about the costs! I told them all, "I am amazed they did not charge anything when they first started. I THINK THEY DESRERVE EVERYTHING THEY GET FOR DOING THE FABULOUS JOBS THEY DO."

I agree with part of what you said.... Auctionwatch IS a wonderful service. Plus, they NEVER gave any misconception that their services would remain free forever. They always gently reminded us that they would start charging for their services at some point. That is why when they started their fees, I had no problems buying a year contract from them. Their service is great, their support is great, and their communication is great.
Paypal, on the other hand.... is nothing but a underhanded, ill-managed, lying company that I wish to have NOTHING to do with! They lied about their service being free for sellers for ever... they changed their terms of use without notifying their users.... & their customer service is practically non-existant. (not counting Paypaldamon who I admire greatly for the difficult position his company often places him in!) I started out as an avid Paypal fan... but through their deception, and underhanded business practices I have dropped them from my life. I am happy to report that my auction sales have not suffered, and I am much happier without them. So... when you hear people complaining about Paypal fees... keep in mind that there is likely more than just the dollars that they're upset about!
