I have in my possession a Royal Doulton stoneware water filter labelled "Puro Water Filter" that according to Royal Doulton was produced between 1830 and 1870. Other than setting a high reserve and testing the waters on eBay, does anyone have an idea of the value of such a piece? The dimensions are 16" tall and 9 1/2" in diameter. The piece is in very good condition with no apparent chips, cracks or repairs, though I don't know if any vital parts might be missing. I would add photos, but I don't know how!
