I downloaded ebays sellers assistant several days ago and have launched several auctions. Today when I hit the icon on my desktop I get the following message--"Run Time error 339. Component PWACTIVEXIMGCT.DLL or one of its dependencies not correctly registered:a file is missing or invalid." Can anyone help me with this? Will I need to download sellers assistant again and if I do will it erase all of my current auctions that I have on file? Thanks for any and all help.

i assume you are talking about Mr. Lister? go to the ebay boards (under "community" at the listings on top of the ebay screen) - find the board for Mr. Lister - there should be some help there ... you may have to go back a few weeks - just browse the posts - there was something there, by ebay staff, about a fix for something like the error you describe. if you can't find it, post about it again, and i'm sure someone there will come along and repost the fix for you. you shouldn't lose any listings you have saved.

good luck!

I've been running Sellers Assist. and before Auction Assistant.

I think I've got that error message, not sure, I've gotten a few error messages with it.

What I have done, is reboot or restart your computer and try it again.

If you download it again, I think I would contact ebay (since they are in charge of it now) to make sure...... though I don't know if their techies know as much as Slocum did about the program. But do contact them before you download it again.

When it became 'mandatory' to download Sellers Assistant when it was sold to ebay, it had all my old auctions in it from the old Auction Assistant, so it may not delete the ones you have, but I wouldn't take a chance, I would definitly contact the Sellers Assist. dept at ebay.

If the program will let you I recommend making a backup of your auctions. Then after you get the problem fixed if any data is missing you can click on "File", then "Maintenance", then "Restore" and your auction info should come back.
I think you can still go to blackthornesw.com (The name before ebay bought them) and see old FAQs and answers to problems with the program.
Or you can email them and they will probably respond. I had a problem yesterday with my subscription info and had the solution within 3 hours via email.
Hope this helps.

You should email [email protected] for help. Be sure to tell them if you have which version you have either Sellers assitant Basic or Pro. I had a problem and re-installed it and lost all my old data. Cried and cried. Also you should look at the Mister Lister Sellers Assistant board on eBay http://forums.ebay.com/dws?14@[email protected]
