I haven't signed up, and I posted this earlier on another thread and I don't remember any responses to it.
they had me until they wanted my DOB and my Social Security number, which is about all you need to steal someone identity. Paranoid? no I actually had this problem with someone in my town just using my name don't want to know how bad it would be if someone had your social.
anyway the only way that I can see using this service is if it is the only service you use, otherwise since it costs the BUYER and not the seller if you took PayPal or another payment service that doesn't cost the buyer anything at the same time I doubt that may people would ever use it. has that been the case for people using both?
A search on ebay show over 15,000 people with it in their auction so someone should have an opinion.
My be a moot point if ebay starts processing the transactions for sellers at no charge, that really wouldn't be in keeping with anything that they have done but that is what they claimed on their email.
just want some ideas and opinions before I jump in.

Read the privacy statement very carefully before you join.
It certainly looks like they share your application and credit info with other Citibank services and you grant them the right to provide it to third parties, too.

I have not had a problem with C2it YET.. but I'm getting concerned. I transferred money from C2it to my Credit Card on 6/11 and so far the transfer has not gone through. Today is day #7. I've never had a transfer take this long. Even exchangepath was quicker than this.

considering the number and variety of ways that Citibank has screwed up my student loans, I'm not about to trust them with ANY more of my money.....

I personally am not a fan of Citibank and its practices. I don't think I will ever sign up for C2it. Below are some links about Citibank and its practices.
