My latest problem centers on a couple of potential overseas deadbeats. One is in Britain and another in Australia. I sent initial emails to both. One told me he would send money, but it's been two weeks and no show, and no response to repeated emails. I had a NPB warning sent and thus far I hear nothing. The Australian keeps sending me some sort of canned message about having difficulty acessing email. It strikes me as a bit suspicious. I'm asked if I take Paypal. I say no and ask him to get back in contact. No response. At what point may I be excused from waiting on people to relist? The lack of response is atypical of my other experiences selling to folks overseas. Anybody had problems like this before?

I'd wait on the British one, the mail can be slow. Have you tried to email from another ISP or from Ebay?
As for the Australian he sounds uncannily like one that was mentioned on these boards yesterday by someone else, can't remember where though - he was a total deadbeat.

I have sent email by my aol address AND ebay.
I get no response. If anyone recalls the thread about the Australian let me know. I have a feeling both these guys are bad news. The Brit will not respond to requests about when he will be sending payment. Ditto for the Aussie. I have my latest round of auction postings ending this evening and would like to relist, but don't know if that's permitted. I pay ebay by check rather than by credit card, which could delay the resale of my items if someone is a deadbeat.
I feel like I was told they'd pay to get me off their back, and now I'm being ignored. BTW, I see that ebay has made it a three strikes policy on deadbeat bidding, not the old four, where you got a 30 day suspension. When did this start?

File for your fees now, relist and move on.

I checked the feedback on these two. The Brit has no feedback and is at zero. It'll be in the minus range by tomorrow. The Aussie had some complaints about not paying and not answering email. Strangely, he had LOTS of feedback from one dealer in particular doing private auctions. I think he's putting me on. Am going to relist and file. I normally have a better response from abroad, but thse guys are the exception.
