Any help is appreciated with this.
I shipped a 4+ pound package to Canada (Delaware to Ontario) eight days ago via Parcel Air. The buyer is questioning why he hasn't received it yet.
I distinctly remember telling the clerk parcel air.It was the only package I mailed that trip. There's only $1 difference from land but a huge time difference. The receipt is no where to be found.
Does anyone have any idea how long this should take to get there??? I know what the USPS site says.
I'm sending the buyer the link to this thread.
Thanks!

Customs can delay things, especially if they are adding on Taxes....they shouldn't start to sweat for 30 days, even though USPS has an estimated 4-7 days

Hi Ontario buyer,
I used to live in Toronto and was always amazed at time it took items to reach me from the U.S. As a rule of thumb, north/south is faster than east/west i.e. items from Florida would reach me faster than items from California.
My guess is that the item will take two to three weeks to reach you.
I live in Calgary now. A couple of years ago, a seller on the U.S. east coast shipped me 4 identical sized boxes on the same day at the same time (he e-mailed me when he mailed them). The U.S. post office told the seller that the shipment would reach me in 7 days. The first box actually arrived in exactly 3 weeks (on a Wednesday). The second and third box arrived two days later and the fourth box arrived the following Tuesday (4 weeks minus 1 day after being shipped).

Don't pay any attention to the 4-7 day crap on USPS's website, average from Florida to Canada seems to be 2 to 3 weeks even by "Air". You would think Canada was on another Planet.
Heck, we got a man from Florida to the Moon is less time.
