a week or so ago rthere was a thread about what the little pics next to the title hearde were for. i think the final conclusion were they were from those pocs hosted by ebay.........well let me tell ya that i host elsewhere and i have one next to one of my items.......it is an item i listed with a gallery pic......so that has to be what that pic is..........excuse me if this has been stated already,i must have missed it......

Me pretty sure that those annoying pics ONLY appear if thou useth the VILE and WORTHLESS (unless ya LIKE blurry pics?) evil IPEX system foisted upon the image-manipulation-challenged hoi polloi!

well i am positive i am not using ebays pic service...i use AW pic hosting for 110% of my auction and i did use the gallery for the auction i speak of..............sooo unless i somehow snuck one by ebay you are mistaken......thats why i posted this thread because i thought like you did/do......

Every single one of me humble little forays into the mighty e-commerce maelstorm knowneth as feeBay is the the so-called Gallery...but nary a one has the itty-bitty-little pic in ye ole title bar!
A true mystery! Not to mention... a puzzle!

BUT... to answer your question as to vat does pics is 4:
They make those who cough up the moola for the blurry, awful, horrible, stinky, pukey, putrid, eyeball-destroying IPEX monstrosities feel like they be getting something for their moola! That's what does little pics is 4!

BTW: is that a FREE! IPEX pic??
I do not use them...but I was under the impression that 1 pic is FREE & is ya use the FREE 1 pic mode...ya don't get the wee pic in the title bar??!!
But me no expert on IPEX!

more info from the horses mouth (Meg! not me!):
"What are the feature changes?
Title Bar Picture! Let bidders view your item immediately by displaying a picture in the top left corner of your listing. Title Bar Picture is a FREE option for any listing that uses eBay Picture Services."
Unclear whether or not the free i pic option gets the wee pic ... but I think not!
Also if you select the Picture Pack option (or whatever they call their real super-duper plan), your pics are AUTOMATICALLY placed into the GALLERY!

well after looking at the link above i still do not have a definite answer. a friend uses ipix and most of his show up on title bar but some don't...i know he is not paying the extra buck because i asked him and 50% of his items are buy it now for 5 bucks. those items were not free to him, he has atleast 2 bucks in them......in my case i did not payanything extra but the gallery and i have one showing up and i use aw pic hosting
pattaylor.....i have seen many threads containing auction numbers that stay up.....i was under the impression we could post numbers as long as we did not mention sellers/bidders names directly...........i guess i need some clarification on that tid bit too.........
