I know...this has been posted before, but I cant find it. I have listed some things for two different friends. Wondered what you consignment sellers charge for fees? I already have deducted what I had to pay for shipping materials, (the items are already sold...)and the listing fee, and the final value fee, so 10%? 20%?

if they are not expensive and it is not going to be done on regular basis,i would just do it free,of course they pay for the other fee you have mentioned.
it is not worth it,unless you want to help them out.

A while back I was selling quite a few items for a friend. Mostly very expensive items.
We worked it like this: he would set a minimum price that he would take (it has to be a very reasonable price or I can't make anything). Then, anything over that we would split. Worked out very well for me.
One item he set his minimum at $600.00 and it brought over $1200. So, I made a little over $300, and he got a little over $900. We were both happy. Of course I handled everything from listing the items to packing and shipping. All he had to do was turn it over to me. I earned the money all right.
On others of course I made less, but I made a lot of money overall selling for him. I miss that! He ran out of the good merchandise, and I sold most of it for him. Those were the days.
