I state in may auctions that I do not accept international order. Of course someone wins and tells me that they are in the one and only Singapore.

What payment type can I accept and not get burned? paypal? billpoint? bidpay?

I've never had an ounce of trouble with BidPay--always goes smoothly & the MOs they send out are generated right here in the US (Western Union MOs). As soon as you get their second, confirming, email you can ship out the item. The MO gets to you within 3-7 days.

Cash is always nice, too...

I had a postal money order from Singapore in USA funds one time...my bank in Washington State cashed it without a fuss

In this case I would accept bidpay or cash only. With bidpay you are at least safe, no surprizes.

Insure it, if you are worried. A money order can be drawn on a US bank, if their bank has arrangements with a US bank. This speeds things up, because it will be mailed from, say, NJ instead of Singapore.
