Does anyone have a chart that shows what European sizes are equal to? I have a skirt that is a size 40 and would like to include the size it is equal to. Thanks so much for any help!

You might waist to print the measurements here and I could help you for sure.

I believe a 40 is = to a 10 or 12.

Size 40 is equivalent to Size 12 in Australia, Size 10 in the United States and Size 12 in Great Britain.

Why not try a search in the WWW there should be something on there and maybe you can make yourself a chart. There is vast knowledge just at our finger tips and searching is free but time consuming. Good Luck

LIBRA63 I just did a quick search for "size conversion chart" and within seconds I was printing out a chart. Thanks for the advice!

Sorry, I just had to add this. This would explain why a friend of mine bought some clothing marked "38" at a local discount store and it was too small for even me (I am a size 12).

I can't wait to tell her. She was very upset about it. Must have been foreign made clothes!
