.... that since sales have become rather dismal for me, I'm not going to list anything for the remainder of August but once Labor Day comes - I'll start up again.
I'll spend the next 3 weeks getting organized and finding new inventory for the big rush time. Is this a good idea? I'd love hearing what you all think about this.

Others may disagree, but I did this about 2 weeks ago now, and am concentrating on listing my books elsewhere. Once I have them all up, I'll be back-peddling and taking pics etc to restart on E-Bay.

This is exactly what I am going to do as well! When the auctions I currently have running end next week I'm not listing anything more until after Labor Day. Going to get my office space better organized, look for more magazines to sell and take an Ebay Holiday!

I agree You all take a nice long well desevred break my sales have been riseing since sellers been laying low for the summer some are now returning this may help keep my sale consistant till after the end of summer.
not saying sales are great but alreay i'm doing better this year then last up to this point over all even though some weeks have been flat to dead..
Truth be told I could use to get my inventory straghten out as well but I havent the time or room at this time and well you know what they say you have to make hay while the is sunshining ...

I've had several items end at a penny lately, and the buyer deadbeated. I wasn't too concerned with the ending price as I just wanted to get the stuff out the apartment, but geez, I'd be embarrassed to deadbeat on any auction, let alone for a penny.
Instead of selling this stuff off on ebay, I'm having a big yardsale this weekend and getting rid of them. I hate beanie babies and I just want to burn the things. I think they're ugly, just bought em to resale em. Had them up in lots of 6 and still couldn't sell them!
