I put a clickable link in my item description to my ebay storefront (yes, it's allowed by ebay, I checked w/SafeHarbor before I did it and they were actually quite enthused about it!). And it's really been great, my store sales are up.
BUT, I happened to check my Auctiva gallery a few evenings ago & found the gallery had picked up the link instead of the pictures for my items. <Insert HEAVY sigh of frustration here.>
Any ideas out there? I hate to lose the storefront link but can't lose the gallery either.

Did you try to sign in to Auctiva and edit your gallery yet? If not, try that---you can edit the pictures that are displayed. I have had a similar error before and I was able to select the correct picture that I wanted displayed.

Hiya, yes Auctiva's great!
Just to put a bug in yer ear; you might want to check the images in your showcase FAITHFULLY the day or so after you list, when they update? I carry about 50-60 auctions a week and there's ALWAYS something awry with my photos where I need to edit them. Not a complaint.. just seems to be a fact of life with using them from what I've found out the last 8-9 months. I just scroll thru each page and make sure I see what I want the bidder to see!

Hi everyone,
Once your showcase image hint is set to the right image you should never need to edit your images after they get listed. The other easy thing you can do is add _showcaseindex to the name of the 1 picture per auction that you want in your showcase. So instead of baseballcard.jpg you'd name it baseballcard_showcaseindex.jpg
Either of the two things above will make it so that we always get the right image the first time and you should never need to manually change any images after they've been added to your showcase.
