I need help as we just got roandrunner a few weeks ago.I have Norton Firewall installed but find it really slows my comp down.

Particularly my ebay page, takes forever to load.

If I take of the firewall it works fine.
Any suggestions or would I have the same problem with all firewalls or is it just Norton.

I have a 500htz comp,640k of ram,so there is
plenty of memory.

Thanks Adrian

I find Norton's firewall to be a little cumbersome. In my opinion I think that Zone Alarm will probably suit your needs and it is free. You can get it at download.com

imabrit: A good place to research an issue such as this is at:
http://www.dslreports.com/information/siteguide
Search the forums there. It depends on the specific details of your situation, but there is a lot of info regarding DSL/roadrunner/firewalls.
