Hi all, when I search for items that I intend to list to see what it goes for and which Cat. seems to do best I've noticed that some headlines are using key words such as 'GAY FAD" (frosted liquor set) and "RAVE, EMO"(tee-shirt).The items seemed to sell very well. I wanted to know if there is any other way to find key words that draw well? Also were can I search to find out what the word means since EMO was unknown to me?As always
thanks in advance .

Hi,
Be sure you read ebay's keyword spamming rules carefully. You can't use words in the title if it is not the item you are selling.
You can't compare your item to another brand in the title ("like Kate Spade" or "compare to LL Bean" ). You may be able to get away with "fits American Girl dolls", but probably not "Friend for American Girl doll"
Someone has to report violations for ebay to take action, so even though the auctions you are looking at for guidance may be running auctions, they may be in violation.

"Gay Fad" was the name of a company that hand-decorated glassware (esp. Fire King) in the 1950s; its work has become very collectible in recent years. So, if that company painted the item, these are perfectly legit key words.
As for EMO, I've heard several explanations, none of which have made a lot of sense.

1,429 'emo' items listed at this time.
522 'minty'.
The 'minty' items currently have more bids.
Go with 'minty'..........
or possibly......
