I just bought a terrific football item from the garage sale of an NFL general manager. It's a limited edition (of 105) pewter replica of a stadium (approx. 4" X 6" which features the Bills vs. the Vikings. On the bottom it reads "Kodak American Bowl '93, Berlin, Bills vs. Vikings, Olympic Stadium, August 7, limited edition 35 of 105, RDZ." Does anyone have any idea of what this is? I believe it might have been given to just the players or coaching staff. Would you try selling something like this on eBay, or elsewhere?

I have seen stadium replicas for sale on eBay before. However, I think since your item is a limited edition, it is probably worth more. I am unsure about whether eBay would be your best place to sell it.

Speaking of unusual football collectibles, a few years ago I sold some Tostito chips when the University of Tennessee were the champions and featured on the bag. These were limited edition bags only available in the Knoxville, Chattanooga and Nashville areas. There are a lot of UT fans around the country who were willing to pay $15-$20 per bag. I even had one guy e-mail me for another bag as some friends ate the chips in his original bag!

the item would definetly be fo value to a vikings or bills fan. unless you know definetly it was given to players or coaches you should not list it that way. based by the number made and date this is known, it was a preseason game, the season never starts before early sept. also the production number is too low for it to go to coaches and players. nfl teams in regular season have a roster of 55 plus a dozen or more coaches. in preseason, especially that early, they have many more players on each team. the date looks like it was the first or second at the latest preseason game.

it is definetly a nice item and exclusive but from the looks not given to players/coaches only...93 was the first time the nfl played in germany.

in my opinion ebay is the place to sell that, i would wait until the season kicks off and football fever is high. as a sports seller and collector i don't know of anyother venue that will get you more looks than ebay.......good luck
