Hello:

I've recently seen this type of message in a few ebay auctions and was wondering if this is "legal" by ebay's "rules":

"I do reserve the right to void the outcome & relist this poster if an eBay outage occurs during the last ten minutes of the auction."

anyone know about this?

Yes, when ebay has a lot of outage problems, it's typical of a seller to put that in there, because they don't get credit for auctions if the outage is under 2 hours. They also feel that most bidding occurs during the last few minutes and by letting the auction run to duration, they lose out during outages.

Hope this makes sense. I don't bid on those auctions.
