Can anyone help me identify what type of pottery this is? I've tried calling the importer, but they won't return my calls. I've searched on eBay 'til my eyes glazed over. It appears to be made of a terracotta material that is painted with this light blue color. The cracks on the surface are part of the design. They are made in China and have "Oriental Fortune Vase" written on the tag. I have a set of four, each with a different character and meaning. The one shown here means "Tranquility."

Well, Kiara, that is just not acceptable! I'll expect you to work overtime and have a report on my desk by tomorrow morning. OOPS, sorry. Flashback to corporate job. I'm better now. Whew, that was close.
I'm going to try the importer again. When I call I get stuck in voicemail jail. I'll have to devise a battle plan to get past the receptionist.
Thanks for your efforts, Kiara. I need to figure this out quickly because I'm starting to like these vases. If I keep them, I'll have to redecorate my room to match...which as we all know will give my husband a heart attack...which means more medical bills...which means I'll have to sell the vases....and on it goes.
