I'm not going to be much help. In my 50's and 60's Kitchen Collector's Handbook and Price Guide, there is a set of martini-type glasses and a shaker. The stemps are bent and they are described as "crooked" glasses.
I say let's put a tropical drink in them and top them with an umbrella and sit out by the pool. It would be much nicer than sitting in this office.

It has been a long day for me, but when I saw these I had to laugh. Can you imagine being drunk and having someone hand you a glass like this? (It's also been a lot of years since I've had a drink-- so maybe I am just weird?) Maybe you can add something humerous to your description?
