A talking board? A mystic board? (It says Mystic Board on it but I think there is another name). It's like an old Ouija board but a different brand. It was made in the 40's most likely.
By the way, I've been having a lot of troubles getting into this place. Almost every time I get a "Page Can't Be Displayed" thing and have to back out and try again.

If not "mystic" how about "fortune telling" or "seance"? Other than "ouija" those are the first things that comes to mind. Does it have one of those things you put your hands on (like a Ouija)?
It looks like it is in excellent condition! Great find!!!

It's near excellent. It has a chip out of the wood on the back side, but it doesn't show from the front.
Great find? I hope so. I got it for a buck at an auction but the rest is missing. The pointer thingie and box (and stuff) is gone. I was hoping someone would want it like it is.

Great graphics. Have you been able to date it? I can't quite read the name of the manufacture from the image. The pointer triangle may be missing, but who cares, I would put it up on a wall.

Would you believe that I looked on "completed" this morning and it showed no items for "hasko mystic board" at all? It's true. It's happened to me before. Must be an occasional glitch. Yes, I see they bring a few bucks, but this is the cheapest model.

If you have a dog, does he go in the same room you have that board in? Or... does he stay by the door and growl?
Just a thought ....
Nice item, loosecannon, but they really scare me

MrsSanta
I understand that some people consider these things to be portals to the dark side.
But to me, it's no more scary than a kid's Hallowe'en costume or a Jack 'O Lantern.
But would I use the thing? Noooo. I don't do hoodoo voodoo.

Sorry, Loosecannon, but seeing yours brought back memories of the building my mom bought for her video store. In one room in a closet with a Ouija Board in it. The dogs refused to go into that room, they would growl, their hair would stand on end.
We couldn't figure out what to do with it so I finally came up with an idea ...
We left it overnight on the outside porch and sure enough, someone stole it!

Loosecannon,
When you list it, be sure to put in your description that it has mystic powers that can bring much pain and suffering to deadbeat bidders. You'll have every seller on Ebay fighting over it.
The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.
