I'm just curious. I things are really so bad on Ebay, why do auction counts continue to rise? I was hoping that dropping auction counts would be a little negative reinforcement for Ebay, but so far it's not happening. I'm a bit disappointed. Any thoughts?

Because most sellers realize the only way to sell is to list merchandise for sale (stock the shelves, so to say)?

I for one have had the BEST TWO WEEKS since May! I am listing as fast as I can. I list it sells. I don't list, it don't sell!

All the free marketing ebay is getting (at the sellers expense) is paying off. ebay is mentioned on TV all day long. Stories (good ones) in the paper. ebay ebay ebay I love it! I love it! I love it!

Then I would say it is not "at the seller's expense" but rather "it is benefiting the seller"
