Having just been scammed on an ebay auction for Quark software and now doing a little digging on same-item auctions at ebay, I have good reason to believe there are more bogus items/sellers (with paypal terms of payment). Anybody have any ideas on how to contact current/previous bidder(s) (without violating ebay TOS) basically just to relate my experience and tell them to check out their seller THOROUGHLY and if even one thing doesn't check out, to retract their bid immediately?
(Yes, I've reported my fraudulent transaction to the payment service (paypal) and my credit card company, but ebay doesn't want to be informed for 30 days???) Wow!!

I couldn't say for sure about closed auctions, but contacting bidders of current auctions would definitely be considered auction interference.

Not clear what the scam is, exactly, but if you're talking about the common scam of someone selling pirate copies of software I would suggest that you contact the software company also. Most of them are getting very aggresive about pursuing these scams.

The scam in my case (and others by same seller) was: offering an item for sale, accepting payment for it but not shipping it. I had no reason to believe it was pirated software but I now have enough information to believe the merchandise never existed.
