Hello,

This topic was originally deleted due to the rule about posting numbers of specific auctions. Since it is an out of the ordinary and high profile auction, I am inclined to let it stand.

Please be aware that the auction itself should be discussed to avoid the closure of the thread. The Community Guidelines will also need to be followed.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Marty

I wonder if the employees are going to make sure that the bidding keeps going higher to keep there jobs?

Yup.

Why would anyone WANT this?

Beats me. She should have hade Barry Bonds sign it, it would have brought some real bucks.

Okay, everyone, bid HIGH, bid often.

Then you can deadbeat, file a retaliatory neg and let them see how it feels.

JUST KIDDING, of course. But in my dreams, it WOULD be fun.

Hey, and the person selling is an employee of ebay, and an employee of ebay is bidding on it.

Isn't this illegal (not just on ebay, but in most states) and called SHILL bidding?

The dumba$$ who wrote the auction description doesn't know how to make a clickable link.

"Hey, and the person selling is an employee of ebay, and an employee of ebay is bidding on it. "

It's worse than that, the seller is also the high bidder.
Yup, SHILLING by Safeharbor!!!!
Employees have their own personal IDs, don't they?

What has a bunch of eBay geeks got to do with a baseball? Am I missing something or was it just the cheapest thing they could find to donate?

Nah, just that no-one at ebay has any balls, so they had to borrow one from somewhere else to auction.

A waste of money, but if it will hasten the end of A4A, yahoo. Pun not included, nor batteries or common sense.

Interesting.......

Also, since when is Safeharbor located in Canada?

I bet this ball cap would go nicely with the ball.

At least this eBay employee is following the rules.
