Since the 9-11 attacks I've had about five or six foreign payments never find their way to me. I live right outside of New York City. I'm wondering if this is just some coincidence or if others are having the same problem. If it was just one or two I'd think they were deadbeats but it doesn't seem possible when it's happening so many times. The buyers are from different countries too: Japan, England, Italy, Switzerland. It's been anywhere from two weeks to a month since their respective auctions ended. Before 9-11 I've had foreign payments that have taken a couple of weeks to get here but never so many at once. Anyone else?

Mail is still eratic. I'm in Australia and I'm finding mail both out of the USA and to you a little slow, yet some of it has been as quick as usual.
It seems that some mail centres, both here and in the USA have had some huge backlogs to clear.
Hang in there!

I live in Ohio and I'm still waiting on 3 payments from Canada....auctions closed 4 weeks ago. One buyer apologized profusely and sent a second one priority and it took over a week to get here. I guess I'll give 'em another 4 weeks before I give it up completely. It's a tough call. You really hate to do that cause it could really be tied up, but, then, they could be taking advantage of the situation....

I am a Canadian seller who sells Internationally. On Sept 11th, all Canadian planes were grounded too for several days, and for almost a week after that, no mail was sent on passenger flights. The mail was stored in warehouses. Now, I am quite sure that when they started sending again, they did not start at the bottom of the pile. I still have a couple of items I sent out on the 6th-11th Sept that have still not arrived, and confirmation of several in the last 2 days that were sent on thos dates. I am hoping they all eventually arrive, my buyers are being very patient, and I have had 3 payments not reach me from the US from around that time, and buyers have re-sent. Mail sent in the last 2 weeks has been more or less on time to and from US and other countries. These were extraordinary circumstances, and I think that the post office has done pretty well in getting the back-log delivered, and the service back to normal.

THanks everyone. Guess I'll give them another couple of weeks before I pull the plug on these auctions. Can't send the items if I don't have the money--wherever it may be!
