Silly question, maybe, but I want to ease my mind and be prepared in advance.
eBay Checkout EOA email states:
"Remember, Winning bidders *can* use eBay Payments to quickly and easily pay for this item. Simply select eBay Payments within Checkout to take advantage of this option."
I emphasized the word, *can*. I've never registered with Billpoint, but have used them several times to pay for auctions won. Is there a remote possibility a buyer could send payment via Billpoint for my auctions?
My descriptions clearly state: Payment methods of money order, personal check, Visa/MC and electronic checks via PayPal accepted.
I don't have specific pros or cons about Billpoint. I just don't want to complicate my life with additional paperwork. (Take that back...I do have cons since AFA and Checkout!) I chose PayPal when they were free and stayed with them. The three payment choices have worked perfectly for me...never a bad check, no PayPal problems and I enjoy the debit card.
My heartfelt thanks to each of you for quick answers when I've needed help...for sharing your wit, wisdom, tears and laughter on this board. Though I'm blessed with a large family...grown children, grandchildren, you've been my eBay family. It has been a daily joy and education to come here and relate to *a day in the life of an eBay seller*. I list through AW and will be staying. They were the best, when free, and still are for my listing needs. If I were asked to give my CC info for message board posting privileges only...
I don't think so. It's sad and ill timed for AW to pitch this curve in the midst of world chaos, eBay Checkout chaos, holiday season posting, etc. I can't begin to second guess their big picture or reasoning. I will see you at the other place with another name. When I chose my AW ID, it was hurriedly and I didn't think to crosscheck with eBay IDs. Didn't know about the message boards at that time.
Godspeed to each of you and yours

LOL...YourDesigns
OK, OK I'll comply.
You didn't mention my old hubby and teen-aged grandson. These guys, God love 'em, are on opposite ends of the weird age spectrum. My driver's license, I'll keep!
AudtionWatch *Governor*....Any chance of a last-minute message board reprieve?
