Hi there everyone... I was hoping for some help with a heavy restaurant ware type plate from Homer Laughlin. It is ivory with blue rim and gold trim and 50 stars, with a lovely presidential looking eagle at the top. I'd post a picture if I knew how! (Can anyone tell me how????)
It's back stamp says Homer Laughlin Best China.

What I'm curious about is if anyone knows if it's from a branch of the military or is presidential or just what the heck it is. It's lovely and I wanted to know more before I list it.

Thank you!
Angie

Angie, I have a reference book on Rest china but I have loaned it to someone. I will get it back and look it up as soon as I can. You may have an answer before I do but I will look it up. It sounds very unique.

There's a subcategory just for Homer Laughlin china in eBay's pottery and porcelain area. If you cruise that category, you may find some of your stuff for sale and will then find out what it's called. Never fails for me! Just need to have the time to cruise, I guess. ~Adele

Thanks Adele,
Good advice and I've been doing it for a long time now. This is one item though, I can't find!

Anyone else out there have any clues?
A.
