I am sure you can win quite a few items for a dime or less, but it will be the shipping cost which will drive it up past a dime. An example is:
Cell Phone Antenna Booster Brand New SEALED Item # 1697626245 or 1329951477

Well, after 211 page views, it fianlly has a bid of a dime. This has to be the most controversial ashtray in the history of the internet, let alone ebay.

Well..what I won once wasnt a dime..it was 99 cents for a set of ginsu knives (which are GREAT) but the dork who I got it from charged me $4.00 for shipping and sent it media mail. I HATE when people do that.

i wonder if there's anyway to report those guys for sending non-media through media mail. I once had someone say that they would include a note so it would be considered media mail... don't they know that the WHOLE THING has to be media to qualify.

Media mail is a easy cheap way to beat the system I guess. I admit that when I first started in auctions I did send 1 thing media mail when in fact it wasnt and felt horrible about it. I never did that again. But thats not the point is it? LOL..as far as reporting someone..I guess you could take the package you got down to the old postoffice head honcho? I would only report someone if I got p****ed off at them for some reason.

An advertising ashtray for 10 cents? The listing fees are more than that. Some people have more time than sense.
