I've been trying to leave feedback for two buyers; no luck. FF keeps giving me a fictitious item number and informs me in a scolding way that I absolutely cannot leave feedback for that item, and it's no item of mine! I guess I'll be patient and wait until it's fixed. Sigh. . . .

If the numbers are correct and you haven't left feedback before, report the problem to eBay and let them fix it. This used to be a huge problem, but it's certainly possible that some records get screwed up now and again.
Hang in there, someday it might work.
