Can anyone tell me why ebay may have end auctions identical to the one linked below??
I thought I followed all of ebays policies! Please help!

I can tell ya right now . If you did something similar / identical to that said item then you are violating all sorts of copyright stuff by saying Winnie The Pooh, Piglet and whatnot. I sould suggest saying Pooh Bear or something along those lines. If you use certain names / characters / brands in your items they cancel within a few days, when they find it that is.
There is a list of copyrighted unusable terms on ebay!
Hope this helps
Tim

I sell Winnie the Pooh all the time, I've never been ended. I think the problem is the links...I have none in my auctions so I am not too sure about the rules, but I think you can't link or mention items in your store...But I've been wrong before..

You could try listing like this: similar to well-known W*n*i*e T*e P*o* or something to that effect.
It really stinks that legitimately purchased and resold items are hijacked on the basis of copyright or trademark concerns. Don't these people have a clue? If someone buys something like this, chances are very good they will buy more, and even if they don't the presence of these items naturally promotes the name/product.
Sometimes I wonder if these killjoys aren't planning on going into peoples' homes and snatching kids' bears from the little ankle biters if they suspect they might be bought from an unauthorized dealer. This stuff is so pathetic. Like these corporate giants are being taken advantage of by a little eBay dealer.

It is quite unfortunate but it is very much the case. It is copyright infrignement, but sometimes they don't catch it, because it is actual people looking through the millions of items so they do slip sometimes Possibly thats why you have been able to do it before? Usually they send you an email telling you the reason! Didnt you get a notice of auction cancelation or something?

It's easy to see why your auctions were ended if they are just like the one you have the link to you are making knock off nonliscensed products. Just because you have a mold to a copyrighted and trademarked image doesn't give you the right to profit from them.
Thats what you get for selling knock-off items

I agree, it's because these are unlicensed. You can get away with that at your local craft show or bake sale, but copyright holders will clamp down if it's brought to their attention on ebay.
