I am so sorry, and it is or was not intentional. A while back I wrote to auction watch telling them I do not want to receive my own responses to a thread in my emails,I asked if there was any way I could block this. I was never answered, I brought this up in a thread and someone responded by telling me to click on my own name, then go to the page with my info and click ignore. There was no ignore on my page, and I just kept getting my own replies and left it at that. I just realized that I have about 80% of this board on ignore, I do not know how or why, These are people I have learned so much from, I have never ignored a poster in my life. I do not even know if you received info that I am ignoring you. Please Can someone tell me how to get this straightened out. This is really bothering me, what a thing to just find out.
thanks,
Reenie

First, you must be logged into AW to make any changes. I found that out by trial and error. If your just "lurking" and not signed in, you don't even see the option to ignore a user when you click on their ID. Once you are logged in you will have the option on the user's profile page that says "ignore all post from XXXX". When you click on that, you have placed them on ignore.
Then, when you see a thread they have posted to you will see their user name and the notation:
"You are currently ignoring posts from XXXXXXX. Click here to view them"
When you click on the "CLICK HERE" link, you'll get the post they made AND they are no longer on "IGNORE"!!!
Just so you don't have to feel bad, nobody is notified when you have them on ignore, so it's just your little secret!
As to the email notification thing that started it all...
I believe it's an "all or nothing" feature. So you will either get all new responses to a thread (including yours) or no notifications at all. I haven't used this feature since my fist month on the board because my mail box stayed full with AW messages since things were always hopping back then. I decided it was just as easy for me to come on over here and check the boards myself to see if anything was new.

wow sulyn1950 thank you, you have answered every thing for me. My Day already seems brighter. That is exactly what I was seein You are ignoring mesages from xxxxxxxx I am always signed onto auction watch because I use their services, so I think I might have done some click heres, and they are no longer being ignored, so I must not have done them with the others, or I did not know at the time I was ignoring them.
I do visit here often, a real good idea, to shut off the email notification, it can tie up your in box. I'm going to get clicking, Thanks again.
